Divorced a Few Months Ago, Yendri LIDA Reveals Wanting to Meet the Child

Kapanlagi.com - Singer from Liga Dangdut Indonesia (LIDA) 2018, Yendri Kim, or better known as Yendri Lida, is still in good terms with his wife's extended family, Monica Fuji, despite their divorce a few months ago. Currently, the divorce proceedings of Yendri and Monik are still ongoing.

"Basically, if it comes to divorce, from a religious perspective, it has been valid for a long time. It is still in progress in terms of the legal process, Alhamdulillah, the court proceedings have started, only two more summons left. There has been a summons yesterday, only two more left before that," said Yendri to Kapanlagi.com, on Tuesday (21/7/2020).

1. Blessed with a Child

From his marriage with Monik, Yendri was blessed with a child named Safira. Because he lives in Bangka, Yendri is forced to communicate long distance with his child and wife who are now in Garut. In order to know the development of the child, Yendri tries his best to contact his wife's family through telephone calls or video calls.

"We still maintain good communication. Yendri still video calls with the child, more telephone calls with the in-laws. Because in-laws are still in-laws, there are no ex-in-laws. Yendri still maintains communication, still using WhatsApp, telephone calls, video calls with the child, Safira. We still maintain good communication, although it has started to fade, not as intense as before," he said.

2. Meet the Child

Yendri has not yet had the opportunity to meet his child in Garut due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. However, Yendri himself admits that he intends to meet his child in Garut directly after this pandemic.

"Of course, I want to meet my child. The important thing is, Alhamdulillah, it is a blessing from Allah. I have also brought my child at the age of eight months, I brought my mother from the village to Jakarta, from Jakarta to Garut by bus. I have brought my parents there before," Yendri concluded.
