Does Not Want to Sacrifice Happiness, Jenita Janet Insists on Separating from Her Husband

Kapanlagi.com - Dangdut singer Juliana or better known as Jenita Janet and her husband, Alief Hedy Nurmaulid just underwent a divorce trial at the Bekasi Religious Court, Tuesday (7/1/2020). Both parties, both from Jenita Janet and Alief Hedy Nurmaulid, attended the mediation hearing.

After undergoing a two-hour mediation process, Jenita Janet and Alief Hedy Nurmaulid did not reach a consensus, the mediation failed. According to Jenita Janet's legal counsel, Dendy Zuhairil Finsa, during the mediation process, both parties expressed their grievances that they had been holding back.

"Mediation is finished, during the mediation all the grievances that have not been expressed are now spoken. So, now everything is resolved. Therefore, the decision will continue to the next trial," said Dendy Zuhairil Finsa at the Bekasi Religious Court, Tuesday (7/1/2020).

1. Alief Wants to Maintain the Household

Alief Hedy Nurmaulid himself admitted that he wants to maintain his household. Moreover, they have been building a household together with Jenita Janet for nine years.

"Personally, I want what's best, if there is a chance why not. But we have to be more independent, we have two weeks to reflect, since I've been at home, my time for introspection and so should she, right?" said Alief Hedy Nurmaulid.

In fact, in order to maintain their household, Alief Hedy Nurmaulid will meet with Jenita Janet's family.

"Personally, I might want to meet her family first, her parents. I really miss them because it's been a long time, I want to talk, share things. Because for two months I've been traveling around Indonesia, in a sense, to calm myself down, to find my true self, and to figure out what I want to do and what I will do in the household," he said.

2. Jenita Janet Insists on Separating from Her Husband

Unlike Alief Hedy Nurmaulid, Jenita Janet remains determined to separate from her husband.

"I have no intention of hurting anyone. Making someone suffer, no, I will never forget history. I never want to hurt anyone, no matter how small. Especially someone I used to love. I don't want to oppress him. But I can't sacrifice my own happiness," said Jenita Janet.

"I've already said that I can't continue this marriage. I have to be firm in my life choices. I am a woman, but I am expected to be tough, for a better life. It doesn't mean I forget his history. No, I'm not that cruel," concluded Jenita Janet.
