Dewi Perssik chose to slaughter sacrificial animals in her own home because she didn't want to get involved in problems with the people around her place of residence.

Fortunately, the process of slaughtering sacrificial animals received assistance from residents and went smoothly.

"Last year there was a problem, now I don't want to bother so I stay at home. I chose to slaughter animals at home because I also want to see the cutting process," said Depe when met at her residence in Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, on Monday (17/6/2024).

Dewi Perssik expressed gratitude for being able to sacrifice four animals this year on Eid al-Adha.

There are three cows and one goat scattered in Jakarta and her hometown, Jember.

"There are a total of three cows. Two cows in Jember and one cow here (in Jakarta), there is also a goat for Gabriel. These three cows are in the name of four people, me, my mom, my dad, and my grandmother. The one in Jakarta weighs one ton," explained Depe.

Regarding the misunderstanding during last year's Idul Adha, Dewi Perssik revealed that she has forgotten about it. This is because she wants to live in peace with the surrounding community.

"It has been forgotten, and now I am also on good terms with the people in this neighborhood," said the 38-year-old dangdut singer.

"It was just a misunderstanding and has been resolved peacefully, so please do not remember it anymore," emphasized the singer of the song Mimpi Manis.
