Drug Consumption Assistant, Saipul Jamil Only Found Out After He Was Arrested by the Police

Kapanlagi.com - Due to the actions of his personal assistant who engaged in drug trafficking, Saipul Jamil was also apprehended by the police. Fortunately, after undergoing a urine test, the result was negative, proving that he did not consume drugs.

Saipul admitted that he did not believe his assistant named Steven was using drugs. Because during their work together, he considered Steven to be a straight person.

"I didn't know that my assistant was involved in drugs. That's why I have to be careful in choosing future employees. I have to be really selective because what I thought was good turned out like this," said Saipul in a press conference at the Tambora Police Station, West Jakarta, on Saturday (6/1/2024).

1. Didn't Expect to Use Drugs

Saipul Jamil hired Steven Arthur Ristiandy a year ago. During his employment, Saipul revealed that Steven was reliable. Until another fact spoke.

"I only found out that he used drugs after being here (at the police station). He applied for a job a year ago and his work was good, so I didn't expect him to be involved in drugs. There was no suspicion because he is a very good person," Saipul firmly stated.

2. Sweeping in West Jakarta Area

The pursuit of Steven Arthur Ristiandy began with a sweep conducted by the police in the West Jakarta area. They received information that drug transactions frequently occur there.

Not long after, it was discovered that a transaction was carried out by two men. After being followed, one of the perpetrators, namely Steven, got into a car and was then chased.

"The confession from suspect S is that he has frequently engaged in drug transactions by buying meth from R ten times. So, with this information, we finally arrested R. R also admitted to frequently selling meth to S's relatives. We found a match here," explained the West Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Commissioner Pol M Syahddudi, in a different interview session.
