Entertain and Provide Assistance to Covid-19 Affected Residents, Dewi Perssik & Lucinta Luna: Don't Get Tired of Doing Good

Kapanlagi.com - Seeing more and more people being exposed to Covid-19, singers Dewi Perssik, Lucinta Luna, Gita Youbi, and Gina Youbi were moved to directly distribute donations to residents affected by the pandemic.

"I am saddened by the current situation. One of the things I can do is like this, sharing with others, setting aside a little fortune for my less fortunate brothers and sisters. I invite my friends to join in sharing and witnessing their conditions," said Dewi Perssik, recently.

Meanwhile, Lucinta Luna hopes that with their presence, they can entertain the residents they visit. "Don't get tired of doing good. By sharing a little fortune, we can lighten their burden. Seeing their smiles with our arrival and a little fortune in the form of food and basic necessities, we are already happy," said Lucinta Luna.

Dewi and Lucinta Luna stated that the donations were made in six areas in DKI Jakarta, namely in the Warakas area (North Jakarta), Senen (Central Jakarta), Kampung Sawah, Kebayoran Baru (South Jakarta), Petogogan (South Jakarta), Jatinegara (East Jakarta), and Cengkareng (West Jakarta).

Dewi and Lucinta Luna also urged people who have an abundance of wealth to join in helping those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Use your fingers for positive things. Any amount of donation is very meaningful, it can also be done through s.id/baikhati. Later, the Baik Hati.id team will directly distribute the donations to those in need," said Dewi Perssik.

"In the midst of this pandemic, our donations mean a lot to them," added Lucinta Luna.

2. Distributed Directly

Meanwhile, Saptana, a representative of the Baik Hati team, stated that the aid was distributed directly to the residents on Friday (16/7/2021). The aid came from various sources, including 2000 packages of basic necessities donated by #SahabatBaik to Baik Hati, 2000 packages of basic necessities from the BerbaGi community, and 2000 ready-to-eat rice packages from singer Dewi Persik.

For easy access by the public, Baik Hati has opened itself through Whatsapp Bot or Telegram Bot, which are available on the baikhati.id platform. This allows residents to report the chronology of events. In addition to the baikhati.id website, it is also connected to social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. These channels provide important information about Covid-19, as well as oxygen agent/providers, plasma donors, ambulances/funeral vehicles, hospitals, and field hospitals.

"Not only in DKI Jakarta, but aid distribution has also been carried out in several regions in Indonesia by the Baik Hati Volunteer Team in the past 2 days. These include the Bekasi, Banten, Gresik, East Java, and Central Java regions, including Semarang, DIY, Bantul, Pekalongan, Banyumas, Banjarnegara, and Pemalang. In West Java, aid has been distributed to residents of Kuningan," he explained.
