Failed Mediation, Nita Thalia's Divorce Lawsuit Hearing Will Be Held Next Month

Kapanlagi.com - Nita Thalia filed for divorce from her husband whom she has been married to for 20 years. And today, Tuesday (27/10/2020), Nita Thalia's divorce lawsuit hearing resumed. The agenda for this hearing is the reading of the divorce lawsuit filed by Nita Thalia.  

"The result of the mediation refers to a failed mediation. The reading of the lawsuit is now taking place. So, the reading of the lawsuit in front of the panel and their party is finished. However, they are not ready for the response," said Feriyawansyah, Nita Thalia's legal representative when contacted.

1. Nita Doesn't Need to Attend the Next Hearing

With the failure of divorce mediation, it means that the divorce trial will continue. And in the next hearing, the legal counsel stated that Nita Thalia doesn't need to bother attending the hearing.

"The next step, as the legal counsel for Nita Thalia, she doesn't need to attend the hearing and just provide legitimacy. We have recorded that the answer from the other party will be on November 3rd, our reply will be on November 10th, and the plaintiff's duplicate will be on November 17th. So, both parties will attend on November 24th where both parties must be present to prove evidence and witnesses," said Feriyawansyah.

2. Witnesses Have Been Prepared

The legal counsel also stated that for the upcoming divorce trial, both parties have prepared witnesses.

"We have prepared witnesses, which means that in this case, there are conflicts and other matters that we cannot disclose here. That's why the hearing is closed, there are things that Nita Thalia and our opposing party keep confidential," he added.
