Feeling Depressed Because of Her Divorce, Jenita Janet Once Wanted to Quit the Entertainment World

"At that time, from September when the divorce happened, October, November, December, those four months were the lowest point of my life. I was completely broken. I even considered quitting the entertainment world, but after four months, I realized that I had to rise up," said Jenita Janet when met in Tendean, South Jakarta, on Monday (26/10).

Jenita Janet feels unable to carry out her job as a public figure alone. Because all this time, her ex-husband played the role of a manager who managed everything for her. 

"It's tough, it's not easy to determine the future, because the risks are borne by myself. I must not regret it, because my ex-husband was my manager. So, when he's not around, I feel handicapped, my work becomes unstable," said the singer of the song Direject.

2. Never Told to Relatives

Her lack of confidence is caused by not knowing who to rely on and depend on in supporting her career. Not only that, apparently Jenita Janet is a closed-off person, she is not easy to share her personal problems with her family or closest friends.

"I was wondering if I can live alone? At that time, I didn't know who to rely on, I myself don't like to tell sad stories to my family or friends. I usually just say 'Mom, Dad, please pray for me'. But I never told them what the problem was like," she concluded.
