Fitri Carlina is currently known to have to endure a Long Distance Relationship (LDR) with her husband, Hendra Sumendap, as he has to work for an international airline. Despite that, the singer, who is familiarly called Fitcar, admits that it was initially difficult to be far from her husband because they used to spend a lot of time together.
When met in the Kuningan area, Central Jakarta, on Monday (17/7) Fitcar seems to have been able to accept the situation. However, she admitted that it is very difficult for her to live apart from her husband.
"It was difficult at first because it was still the first time, I had to be far away from my husband. But as time goes by, Mr. Hendra gives me more support, I have to be strong, don't cry," said Fitri Carlina.
"Hopefully, with this long-distance relationship, it will make me and Mr. Hendra more mature. Because before, I was the most spoiled one, I would get upset and throw tantrums when he left for a while," she continued.
In addition, for this 36-year-old woman, LDR has given her many valuable lessons. One of them is that Fitcar can now be more independent in managing all her family affairs without the presence of her husband.
Not only that, after finally catching up and meeting her husband, Fitri Carlina feels a little more at ease seeing that Hendra is truly serious in carrying out his duties.
"But being apart like this makes me more independent, in the sense that I can take care of household activities on my own. I have to be able to handle things myself. Until now, I know how to handle everything," she said.
"Alhamdulillah, I have also met my husband. It brings me more peace of mind because I see that Mas Hendra is seriously carrying out his duties, so I am more sincere," she said.
Fitri Carlina & Hendra Sumendap have not been blessed with a child in the 7 years of their marriage. Fitcar mentioned that she has made various efforts since the beginning of her marriage to the pilot. However, it is not God's will yet.
