From Lesti to Selfi, These Dangdut Singers Invite Everyone to Temporarily Avoid Going Home

Kapanlagi.com - A series of dangdut singers from the Indosiar competition urge everyone not to go home for Eid this year. Not just a regular appeal, but with a song in their respective regional languages.

"Don't go home, don't go home. It's still cool if you don't go home," a snippet of the lyrics from Jangan Mudik.

It starts with Ramzi in Indonesian, then continues with Lesti in Sundanese, Selfi from South Sulawesi, and ends with Rara in the typical language of South Sumatra. They all advise not to go home.

1. No Homecoming Policy

This invitation is not without reason. As known, regarding the spread of the coronavirus in various regions in Indonesia, the government has implemented a policy for migrants not to go home for a while.

This is due to the rapid transmission of the coronavirus. And also to protect family members and relatives in their hometowns to stay healthy, safe, and away from this pandemic.

2. Campaign Form

The song Jangan Mudik is a form of campaign by Indosiar and KapanLagi.com to adhere to the government's recommendations.

And by using various regional languages from all over Indonesia, it is hoped that listeners, fans, especially dangdut lovers who are currently living away from home, will not return to their hometowns.
