Gita, Wahid and Haviz Give Their Best Performance at the Grand Final Night of KDI 2020

Kapanlagi.com - The Indonesian Dangdut Contest (KDI) 2020 has entered the Grand Final round held on Monday (10/26). The finalists, namely Gita (Lombok), Haviz (Dumai), and Wahid (Sidoarjo), showcased their best performances on the stage of Studio RCTI+, MNC Studios, Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta.

In addition to the above finalists, a number of top dangdut artists in the world also performed, such as Ayu Ting Ting, Via Vallen, Dewi Perssik, and many more. Their performances were spectacular on the Water Fountain stage.

1. Wahid Sings Indian Songs Duet with Ayu Ting Ting

Wahid started his performance with Indian songs, namely Bole Chudiyan and Dhoom Machale. He collaborated with Ayu Ting Ting in his performance. Wahid also performed a song titled Duit that successfully amazed Danang.

"I feel even more challenged because this is the Grand Final where many friends want to be in this position, so my adrenaline is pumped and hopefully my performance earlier did not disappoint the supporters," Wahid said after the event.

2. Gita Unsatisfied with Her Performance

Not to be outdone, Gita performed the songs How You Like That and Kupuja-Puja with a K-Pop vibe. In her performance, Gita was accompanied by Via Vallen. Gita also performed the song Anak Yang Malang by Rhoma Irama.

"Gita is not satisfied because I feel that there were some parts that I didn't sing to the fullest," said Gita.

3. Havid Receives 3 Standing Ovations

Last but not least, Haviz performed with Dewi Perssik. His performance successfully impressed the judges when he sang the song Salah Apa Aku. He even became the first contestant to receive 3 standing ovations from the judges.

"Alhamdulillah, I am proud and satisfied because Kak Danang and I feel that this is my best performance during the audition. It was my first time performing on such a spectacular stage. I was nervous because the stage was magnificent. Alhamdulillah, I was able to overcome it and it felt like a solo concert," said Haviz.

The KDI 2020 Victory Concert will be held next week. This is the most anticipated moment for all supporters because the champion will be revealed.
