Kapanlagi.com - The talent search event to find the next dangdut star titled D'Academy 6 will soon be presented on Indosiar. Every season, D'Academy is always presented in an interesting way. The same goes for this season. According to Harsiwi Achmad, the Director of Programming SCM, there will be many exciting surprises presented in D'Academy 6.
"The participants now come from various regions and are young, 15-16 years old. There are also participants who have become viral on social media, like Ina, who was still a child before and is now an adult, and also Neng Selfi who is skilled in nyinden," said Harsiwi Achmad in a virtual press conference on Monday (11/12/2023).
As for the judges, Harsiwi Achmad continued, there will be new faces, namely Aldi Taher and Hetty Koes Endang. They will accompany the other judges including Soimah, Dewi Perssik, Denada, Happy Asmara, Jenita Janet, and Lesti Kejora.
"There are also new additions, namely Bunda Hetty and Aldi Taher. Hopefully, they can bring a new color to DA 6, and the highly anticipated Dede Lesti will return as a judge. We always offer Dede to join us, but sometimes she is busy. This is the first time she will join again," continued Harsiwi Achmad.
According to Harsiwi, Indosiar is currently developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to become another surprise at D'Academy.
"We are developing AI judges. If it doesn't happen this year, hopefully next year," he said.
Among the hosts, there is also a new face, Kier King, a contestant from the Philippines who successfully became the 3rd champion in D'Academy Asia 6. Kier King will host the show along with Ramzi, Gilang Dirga, Ruben Onsu, and Jirayut
"We also have a new host, Kier King. Hopefully, his Indonesian language has improved," said Harsiwi Achmad.
The auditions for D'Academy 6 have been held from June 10th to October 2023 with 2,612 registrants. D'Academy 6 will consist of 13 rounds including auditions, final auditions, fifty fifty, welcome top 20 concert, top 20, top 16, top 12, top 8, top 6, top 4, top 3, Grand Final concert, and the winner concert.
The contestant episodes in the audition round will air from December 13th to December 18th, 2023, starting at 8:00 PM WIB.
