Senior dangdut singer Hamdan ATT has just undergone surgery due to a stroke. This incident was reported to have occurred on Monday, October 7, 2024, at the Polri Hospital Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. According to his daughter, Aisyah Kamaliah, the surgery went smoothly and Hamdan is now in stable condition after previously experiencing serious symptoms due to fluid on the brain. Aisyah explained that the surgery started around 14:30 and finished at 16:55. After the surgery, Hamdan was already conscious and able to respond, such as raising his hand and returning greetings.
Previously, Hamdan had also experienced a stroke attack in 2017 and 2021, indicating ongoing health issues.
"I just met with the doctor, the operation was actually to reposition the tube from the 2021 surgery. The blood vessel burst due to medication, thank God it worked," said Aisyah as reported by detik hot, on Thursday (10/10/2024).
"There are two conditions, there is fluid in the brain (the cause is the previous tube position was not effective, and that is the purpose of the surgery) and there is a burst blood vessel," Aisyah explained.
"The blood vessel in Aba's (Hamdan ATT's nickname) brain burst, one of the reasons is because the tube that was installed previously experienced a blockage," she added.
Hamdan ATT's condition has started to improve, he can also lift his hand now. Hopefully, he recovers soon. Fellow artists are also giving their support, one of them is Ikke Nurjanah.
