Having a New Hobby During the Pandemic, Selfi Yamma Becomes Interested in Learning to Cook

Just like the experience of the champion of the first season of Indonesian Dangdut League, Selfi Yamma. She admitted that during the pandemic, to reduce her boredom, she spent her time at home learning how to cook.

"I've become more interested in cooking as a new hobby, actually I always wanted to learn how to cook," said Selfi Yamma when met at the KLY office, Gondangdia, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (10/12) night.

1. Reluctant to Buy Food

Selfi Yamma's desire to continue learning how to cook is also driven by the situation where she no longer lives with her aunt. When she feels lazy to buy food, Selfi chooses to cook by herself.

"Especially now that Selfi no longer lives with her aunt, sometimes she has to cook if she doesn't feel like buying food. She can already cook, but not often, so this is to become better at cooking," she explained.

2. Creating Content

In addition to cooking, Selfi apparently also delves into the world of content creation. She seems to frequently upload videos of herself cooking on her personal Youtube channel. Not alone, lately Selfi has been seen sharing cooking content together with Ryaas Randa.

"Yes, she helps a little but doesn't play a big role, instead she helps with eating. As for which dishes she likes, she has only tried Selfi's cooking once, her response was that it was delicious but she doesn't know if it's genuine or just for pleasing her friend," she concluded.
