Joining the LIDA 2021 Auditions, This Beautiful Woman from West Sulawesi Wants to Be Like Lesti Kejora

Kapanlagi.com - The online auditions for Liga Dangdut Indonesia (LIDA) 2021, which started in November 2020, have completed 15 out of the targeted 34 provinces in Indonesia.

Ade Permana, the producer of LIDA 2021, is grateful for the increasing enthusiasm of prospective participants despite the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Lida 2021 will start next year on February 21, 2021. We will select the top 2 participants from these 34 provinces to perform in a concert in Jakarta. Specifically, West Java and North Maluku will have 3 participants because they were the winners in 2020," he said during a virtual interview on Sunday (20/12).

1. Preparation to Pass

Nur Abidah, who is one of the participants from West Sulawesi, admitted that she is happy to be able to participate in the Online LIDA 2021 audition. The 16-year-old girl did all the preparations to pass to Jakarta and make her parents proud, who are currently working as migrant workers in Malaysia.

"She feels scared and nervous, but when she sings slowly, it's all gone. Her preparations include waking up for Fajr prayer and practicing breathing," she said during an interview.

2. Inspired by Lesti

The woman, who admits to liking dangdut music because she is inspired by Lesti Kejora, apparently used to participate in singing competitions. That's why she hopes to get a chance to compete in the next round, in order to succeed and make her parents happy like Lesti Kejora, her idol.

"I won first place in singing competitions between schools and even between provinces. My hope is that I can pass to Jakarta, I entrust everything to Allah," she concluded.
