Lucinta Luna's Hair Test Results Declared Positive for Drugs, Legal Counsel Speaks Out

Kapanlagi.com - The continuation of the trial for Lucinta Luna's drug possession case took place. As previously known, Lucinta claimed that she was forced to confess by the police about the possession of ecstasy found in her apartment's trash can.

From the urine test results, Lucinta was indeed declared negative for drugs. However, from the hair test results, she was declared positive. The legal counsel of the singer of Jom Jom Manjalita also commented on the test results.

"This is an expert witness who examined the laboratory results from BNN. It turns out that the urine test results are negative, but the hair test results are positive. However, the hair test results cannot accurately detect when the defendant used the ecstasy, it could be a month before or even up to 3 months before," said Lucinta Luna's legal counsel, AAFS, at the West Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (8/7/2020).

1. Not Knowing When LL Last Used Drugs

Knowing the results of the hair test, the legal counsel hopes that the panel of judges can reconsider the punishment for LL. According to him, Lucinta may have used illegal drugs a few months ago, but has since stopped.

"It's the same as when Slank's friends declared, 'I used to be a user but now I have stopped.' It can't be punished, we can't punish what has already happened. We will also see later, we will bring expert witnesses who will ask in more detail about the dangers of those drugs. To what extent, because from the results of the police examination report, the urine is negative for Benzodiazepines, if the BNN examination results are negative, which one is true. We will see later," he continued.

2. Inconsistencies in the Prosecutor's Statements

From the beginning, LL's legal counsel found many inconsistent statements from the prosecutor's side. He also hopes that the panel of judges can delve deeper into this case and make the best decision for his client.

"From the beginning, I believe the investigators have lightened the situation because of the inconsistencies. Especially when they stated that they found 2 ecstasy pills in the trash. The first one said the trash was opened first, the second one said it was on top. Meanwhile, when we confronted the witness just now, in the afternoon he just threw away the Indomie packaging. Let the panel of judges decide," he concluded.
