Not Following the Trend, Wika Salim Reveals That She Has Been Fond of Cycling Since a Long Time Ago

Kapanlagi.com - Lately, cycling seems to be a healthy lifestyle trend that is popular among Indonesian society. Including celebrities in Indonesia, one of them is the beautiful dangdut singer Wika Salim.

She said that she is not just following the trend but she has loved cycling since she was a child. Because it has become popular again now, she decided to pursue her old hobby.

“Actually, I'm not just following the trend, I have been cycling since I was a child, but back then I didn't have Instagram and not many people knew about it. Nowadays, there are a lot of social media platforms and I can post whatever I want, so many people know about it. Coincidentally, cycling has become happening again,” said Wika Salim when met in Tendean, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (14/7).

1. Remembering Childhood

Wika Salim said that by cycling again, she remembers her childhood. Especially when gathering with friends. In addition, the reason she rides a bike is also for exercise.

"I actually started cycling since I was a child. Now, it's true that I remember cycling again. So now I have started cycling regularly for exercise," she said.

2. Just for Fun

However, so far she hasn't been too serious about her cycling hobby. If there is free time, she only cycles with her friends or her community.

"For me, so far it's just for fun because I play with friends whom I know, it's more relaxed, we chat and joke around, not too serious," said Wika Salim.

"Sometimes once a week, sometimes just near my house. I cycle with my assistant or with friends from the community. So if there's a holiday, we go cycling together with the community," she concluded.
