Officially Divorced, Nita Thalia Gives Her Child the Choice to Stay with Her or Ex-Husband

Kapanlagi.com - Nita Thalia finally officially divorced her husband, Nurdin Ruditia, after her divorce lawsuit was approved by the judge of the South Jakarta Religious Court, on December 22, 2020.

Now carrying the status of a widow, Nita Thalia herself feels no regrets. Because divorcing her husband whom she had been married to for 20 years was her own wish.

"I am very grateful to Allah because this has been my prayer and wish all this time," said Nita Thalia when met in the Tendean area, Mampang, South Jakarta, Thursday (24/12/2020).

1. No Agreement

Nita Thalia explained that in the process of her divorce, all matters of joint property will be resolved amicably. She also stated that there is no agreement with her ex-husband regarding post-divorce matters.

"Until this moment, I haven't had any communication or phone calls, there is no agreement whatsoever. Because the divorce process is only a divorce lawsuit," said the 38-year-old dangdut singer.

2. Free to the Child

Regarding custody rights, Nita Thalia gives full freedom to her child to choose. She will not prohibit her child from choosing their father.

"As for custody rights, we both give freedom to our child to choose between me and their father. If the child chooses their mother, alhamdulillah, because I allow it. If the child wants to meet their father, I do not prohibit it, regardless of anything, they are still my child," she said.
