The trophy was presented by Mahfud MD, who teased Jaja on stage. To Mahfud, Jaja admitted that he will continue to work even though he is now 80 years old.

On the stage of the Indonesian Dangdut Awards, Jaja advised young dangdut musicians to continue creating. He asked everyone to stay away from drugs.
Jaja asked young dangdut singers to focus only on their work, without paying attention to other things. He wants dangdut singers to be like him, still creating and singing at the age of 80.
Jaja also hopes that dangdut music will be recognized as a national cultural heritage. He also wants dangdut to become more popular worldwide in the hands of the next generation.
The award received tonight made Jaja teary-eyed. He thanked Indosiar for paying attention to him despite his old age.
Although no longer young, Jaja remains energetic in composing poetry. He also admitted that he will continue to sing and create songs, even though he needs a cane just to walk.
