Re-release of the song 'Belah Duren' Siva Aprilia Reads Surat Yasin at Julia Perez's grave

Kapanlagi.com - Beautiful singer Siva Aprilia visited the grave of the late Julia Perez at TPU Pondok Ranggon Jakarta Timur, on Tuesday (2/2/2022). Siva's visit was to pray for the late Jupe by reciting Surat Yasin.

Not only that, in this moment, Siva also wants to ask for permission from the late Julia Perez because she wants to re-release the song Belah Duren, which was once popularized by the late Jupe.

"I'm going to release a song soon, coincidentally the song that was once popularized by Kak Jupe, Belah Duren. So it's better to ask for permission and also send prayers for Kak Jupe, because I've been a fan for a long time," said Siva Aprilia in Pondok Ranggon, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (2/2/2022).

It is known that the song Belah Duren is one of Julia Perez's singles from the album Kamasutra released in 2008. Siva admitted his interest in singing the song Belah Duren since a year ago.

So, what makes Siva Aprilia interested in singing that phenomenal song?

"Firstly, because I like it, and then the label also recommended the song. The label asked for permission, saying that I should contact the three songwriters. It was quite difficult to get this song, but thankfully I got it," said Siva.

2. One Year of Preparation

The production of the song Belah Duren was really taken seriously. Even for the production of the music video, this 26-year-old singer has been preparing for it since a year ago. Siva has also prepared special costumes that she will wear in the music video for the song Belah Duren.

"The preparation for making the music video took more than a year because even the costumes had to be ordered from abroad. I spent more than 30 million on the costumes. It was because I was very determined to make this music video," she said.

Not only preparing special costumes, Siva Aprillia also had to practice the dance which took quite a long time. 

"We haven't practiced the dance yet, we've been preparing for this music video for more than a year. That's why I'm happy that it's going to be released soon," she said.

Covering a hit song will surely be compared to the original singer. The same goes for Siva Aprilia, she is confident that when the song Belah Duren is released, there will be netizens who will compare her to the late Julia Perez.

"Yes, it will definitely be compared. But the important thing is that our intention is to entertain. Let's make it, hopefully it will be liked. But good and bad comments are the risks," said Siva.

5. Will Not Be Able to Replace Jupe's Figure

"Only if compared, I will never be able to replace Jupe's figure. Here, I only sing her songs. Yes, Jupe and I are different, very different. Jupe is better everywhere. But here, we just want to sing, because I also like her songs," concluded Siva Aprilia.
