Rhoma uploaded a photo of the late Wempy and wrote the news.
"Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh. On behalf of the #SONETA Group, I express deep condolences for the passing of Haji Wempy, who was a member of the first formation of Rhythm #SONETA," wrote Rhoma.
The 74-year-old singer also wrote a prayer for the deceased. He hopes that H. Wempy will receive honor.
"I pray that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala accepts his good deeds, forgives all his sins, and grants him the best and noblest place in the sight of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Aamiin Allahumma Aamiin," continued Rhoma.
