Reza Zakarya Reveals Difficulties Faced When Holding Engagement Event During Pandemic

Reza experienced the difficulty of holding an engagement event during the pandemic. Because they are not allowed to invite crowds, Reza only invited immediate family members to propose to his girlfriend. Not only that, Reza had to find another place because the area where his future wife lives in Purwokerto, Central Java, was under lockdown at that time.

"So, the engagement ceremony was only attended by family members, and even then it was a bit difficult because we were supposed to hold it in Purwokerto but because Purwokerto was under lockdown, we couldn't hold the event. We couldn't even get permission from the local government to hold a small gathering at home," said Reza Zakarya when contacted by Kapanlagi.com on Friday (16/10/2020).

"So, we had to move it to Majenang, which is about two hours away from Purwokerto. Only immediate family members attended. I went with my immediate family, my siblings, my mother, my father, and a few team members. Even at Valda's place, the number of people who came was minimized to only immediate family members," added Reza.

1. Fast Procession

The singer who graduated from the D'Academy 3 Indosiar event said that the engagement procession between Reza and Valda was quite short. In fact, it only took two hours, and then it was finished.

"So our procession was not long either, maybe about two hours, after that we had to finish," he said.

2. Troubles

Clearly, organizing an event during a pandemic is quite troublesome. Reza had to go through a quite long process. Nevertheless, Reza is a little relieved because he has proposed to his girlfriend. The plan is for Reza to hold a wedding in early 2021.

"Indeed, it's a bit troublesome, but whether we like it or not, because it's a good intention, it must still be carried out. No matter what the obstacles are, God willing, Eza believes that because this is a good intention, with good goals, surely Allah will provide ease for it," Reza concluded.
