Rhoma Irama's Reaction When Hearing the News of Ridho Rhoma's Arrest for Drug Abuse, Shocked and Initially Unbelieving

Kapanlagi.com - Ridho Rhoma once again arrested by the police for drug cases. Rhoma Irama himself initially did not believe the news when he heard it. Because Ridho Rhoma is currently involved in many activities, he suspected that the news was not true.

"Muhammad Ridho bin Rhoma Irama. So, this is what happened. The first time I heard the news, 'Bang Haji, Ridho got caught again,' I couldn't believe it at all. It's impossible, because he has many programs, Ridho has truly returned to the path of Allah. I don't believe it, I doubt it, maybe it's a mistaken identity," said Rhoma Irama when interviewed at his residence in Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, on Monday (8/1).

"Then, the next day I heard the news from a reliable source, I was very shocked that it turned out to be true, but the reason is still unclear," he continued.

1. Ridho Rhoma Cries and Apologizes

Rhoma Irama also mentioned that when he was caught, his son contacted him and apologized for disappointing his father. Of course, when Ridho Rhoma heard the truth from the news directly, the king of dangdut was shocked as if he couldn't believe that Ridho Rhoma was really having legal problems again for the same case.

"Finally, last night Ridho called me crying a lot, he apologized that apparently 'Ridho still can't hold his father's trust, he is at the Tanjung Priok Port Police because he was caught carrying amphetamines.' I was honestly shocked, why could that happen again?" he said.

2. Expressing Gratitude to the Authorities

Nevertheless, Rhoma Irama expressed his gratitude for capturing his son again. Because according to him, if Ridho Rhoma was captured late, it is possible that he could overdose and die from it.

"Oh yes, I want to express my gratitude to the police for capturing Ridho from the beginning when Ridho was found hiding (drugs) imagine if it was a week or two weeks or even a month or two months, he might have overdosed," he concluded.

As is known, Ridho Rhoma was arrested by the Narcotics Unit of the Tanjung Priok Port Police on February 4, 2021, in an apartment in the Sudirman area, South Jakarta. When apprehended, Ridho Rhoma was found carrying ecstasy drugs hidden in a cigarette package placed in the right pants pocket.
