Kapanlagi.com - Dangdut singer Ayu Ting Ting accompanied by her lawyer, Minola Sebayang, visited the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) of the Jakarta Metro Police on Tuesday (10/26/2021) around 11:00 AM. Ayu and Minola were immediately bombarded with questions from the media. However, Ayu chose to remain silent and went straight into the SPKT building.
"Later," said Minola Sebayang to the media.
After coming out of the SPKT building around 11:40 AM, Ayu and Minola explained the purpose of their visit.
"So today, my arrival with Ayu is to make a report against the @gundik_empang account with the account owner with the initials KD," said Minola.
According to Minola, KD, who has made hate speech against Ayu Ting Ting and her child, is suspected of violating Article 27 paragraph 3 in conjunction with Article 45 regarding defamation and slander through electronic media.
Previously, Ayu also reported the account with Article 351 of the Criminal Code.
"Why did we make an ITE (Information and Electronic Transactions) report? It's because we are still undergoing the process related to restorative justice (for the Article 351 report). So we made two reports targeting one person," said Minola.
Minola further stated that before making her second report against KD, Ayu Ting Ting had already sent a summons. However, there was no good faith from KD.
"We have already sent a summons and attended two invitations, it has been received (by him). But he did not attend and also did not respond to the content of our summons, so it has been fulfilled for us to make a report as regulated by the Information and Electronic Transactions Law," she said.
According to Minola, making two reports against the same person is Ayu Ting Ting's seriousness in giving a deterrent effect to those who have insulted her child.
"This shows our seriousness in taking legal action against people who use social media to insult and spread hate speech against others," she said.
