Kapanlagi.com - Graduates of the talent search event Liga Dangdut Indonesia season one, Nabila Ellisa alias Nabila LIDA finally released her debut single titled Sembunyi Dalam Tawa (Hide in Laughter). Despite being the fifth-place winner of LIDA 2018 for almost two years, she only released her debut song on November 25, 2020 due to various reasons.

The song, created by renowned dangdut musician Nur Bayan, tells the story of someone who loses someone very important in their life due to their ego. During the filming of the music video for the song Sembunyi Dalam Tawa, Nabila admitted that she easily shed tears because it turned out that the song had a similar story to her own.

"I cried during a scene, even though the director said to cry during a different scene, but I ended up crying during this scene. Well, if you say it relates to real life, it seems so haha," said Nabila during an exclusive virtual interview on Wednesday (11/25).

For inspiration from her first song, Nabila admitted that the story contained in this song very much represents herself. The sweet girl from Takengon, Aceh also revealed that behind her cheerful personality, she is actually a very melancholic person.

"The inspiration, actually this song really represents me, Nabila. So, I often appear normal, always happy in front of people, friends, but actually I am a very mellow and sad person, so I easily cry. That's why when filming, it's easy for me to cry," she said.

Not forgetting, Nabila LIDA also asked for prayers and support from the public so that she can continue to produce other works. In addition, in the future, Nabila also plans to learn everything, including acting, because she has a desire to star in a feature film or have her song become a soundtrack in a feature film.

"Nabila has many desires. I hope that in the future, there will be more support and all dreams can be achieved. I also have plans to continue creating works, singing, learning acting because I really want to be in a film or have Nabila's song as a film soundtrack, hopefully," she concluded.
