Successfully Becoming the Champion of LIDA 2020, Meli Hopes to Meet Governor Ridwan Kamil Soon

Kapanlagi.com - The final round of the 2020 Indonesian Dangdut League (LIDA) produced a new champion. Meli Nuryani, a dangdut ambassador from West Java, successfully became the LIDA champion after surpassing her two competitors, Hari from Jambi and Gunawan representing North Maluku. 

Previously, in the LIDA 2020 event, Meli also received direct support from the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil. Getting support from the number 1 person in West Java, Meli's spirit was further boosted. 

"I am very happy and Meli also didn't know that the Governor was in a video call. Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful. Hopefully, Governor Ridwan always stays healthy, always under the protection of Allah SWT, and hopefully, I can meet Meli directly, amen," said Meli LIDA when met at the Victory Concert some time ago.

1. Hopes After Becoming the Champion

Now, after successfully becoming the champion of LIDA 2020, Meli has several hopes within herself. Besides wanting to continue a career in the dangdut world, Meli also wants to be more recognized by many people for who she really is. 

"As for Meli, hopefully she can still be a career woman, successful, known by many people, and be someone who is known as a humble and kind-hearted person, and not arrogant, even if people don't know the real Meli, it's okay if there are still people who say Meli is arrogant," she said. 

2. Kissing the Feet of Both Parents

In addition, Meli also admitted that she wants to return to her hometown immediately to meet her parents. She wants to kiss the feet of both parents and hold a celebration. 

"The first thing Meli will do is to meet her parents and kiss the soles of their feet, and Meli will hold a celebration at her house. That's the first thing Meli will do when she returns," she explained.
