The younger sister of dangdut singer Cici Paramida was proposed by a Turkish man named Cem Junet Peerk in 2011 and eventually chose to live in her husband's home country.

After a long absence from the news, during a live Instagram session with KapanLagi On Air on Friday (9/10), Siti KDI greeted her fans who had missed hearing from her. She expressed her pride and happiness because she is still recognized by the Indonesian people until now.

"Alhamdulillah, thanks to KDI, people still remember me, which means that the success can still be felt. I feel proud to be one of the people who introduced this dangdut contest. I'm also happy that they still remember me even though I have been living in Turkey for almost 10 years," she said.

1. Focus on Taking Care of Husband & Children

As a wife, Siti KDI admitted that she is currently focused on taking care of her husband and children. She also shared how it feels to live in her husband's country, which she found out is not easy to adapt to a new environment.

"Until now, I have been focused on taking care of my family. At first, living there was difficult because it's a different country with different culture, food, and climate. It's challenging because you really have to adapt, and it takes a long time because it's not easy," said Siti.

2. Reasons for Following Husband to Turkey

In addition, as a mother of one child, Siti also revealed the reasons why she chose to accompany her husband to his homeland. Apparently, as a wife, Siti understands the situation of her husband, who is an only child, and doesn't want to leave his mother alone.

"There is a desire, but it comes back to us. The previous commitment was because I saw the situation of Baba Elif (husband) who lived with his parents, and now he only lives with his mother because his father is no longer there. He is also the only child, so it wouldn't be fair to leave his parents there. Alhamdulillah, I have many relatives and family here, so it's a duty for a wife to follow her husband," she concluded.
