Danil Handika became one of the audition participants of group 3 Dangdut Academy 8 who caught the attention of the judges. The contestant from Masalembu performed in front of Soimah, Dewi Perssik, and Wika Salim, bringing a long story of struggle to Jakarta.
His journey, which took more than a full day, was undertaken to chase his dream in the world of dangdut music. His efforts ended sweetly after successfully obtaining the golden ticket from the Indosiar judges.
Danil Handika comes from Masalembu, an island region located quite far from the city center. His background makes his struggle story immediately capture the attention of the jury.
Before heading to Jakarta, Danil first had to travel from his home to the Masalembu Harbor. This initial step marked the beginning of his long struggle.
From Masalembu Harbor, Danil crossed to Kalianget Harbor in Sumenep for about 12 hours. The long travel time did not dampen his spirit to pursue his dreams.
Upon arriving in Madura, Danil continued his land journey to Pamekasan for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. The journey continued with little time to rest.
The man, who is a casual worker, then crossed from Branta Pamekasan Port to Tanjung Perak Port in Surabaya. This crossing took about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
From Surabaya, the journey continued by train to Jakarta for about 12 hours. The total travel time reflects his strong determination to attend the audition.
All of Danil's sacrifices were finally rewarded when he received a golden ticket from the judges. He also dedicated this achievement to his beloved mother who has always supported his journey.
