The biggest dangdut talent search event in Indonesia is back. After successfully producing many new stars, D'Academy 8 officially begins its series of group auditions that aired since Monday night (22/6/2026) on Indosiar.

In this initial stage, participants from various regions come to showcase their best abilities in front of the judges. The three names trusted to be the evaluators are Soimah, Dewi Perssik, and Wika Salim, who are ready to seek talented dangdut singers to advance to the next round.

Not only the judges captured attention, but the presence of alumni from D'Academy 7 also enlivened the audition atmosphere. Arbil, April, and Andi Syaqirah were entrusted to be the MCs and made the atmosphere even more vibrant.

In this group audition, participants are required not only to have good vocal quality but also to have stage performance skills. Those who can deliver the most outstanding performances have the chance to obtain a golden ticket to the Final Audition, an important stage before entering the main competition of D'Academy 8. And here are those who successfully obtained the golden ticket in Audition Group 1 and are entitled to the Final Audition!

Princess Alexandria or Alexa is the first audition participant to appear. She performed four songs with her beautiful voice and successfully received three 'yes' votes from the judges.

Graduate of Forsa 2026, Syarif Hidayatulloh from Tuban, East Java, also progressed to the Final Audition. According to Soimah, Syarif is the type of 'gentle' man because he really appears very soft, from his voice to his attitude.

Cendi from Maumere couldn't hold back tears of emotion when receiving a golden ticket from the judges. Especially since Cendi had previously cried while recounting his father's job as a fisherman.
