Yusuf DA7 experiences a significant change in his life path after taking on the status of a new star in the music industry. His name is now widely recognized by the public as he returns to his hometown.
"Alhamdulillah when Yusuf returned to Palu yesterday, every time Yusuf was in a crowded place, there was always someone who greeted him," said Yusuf DA7 when met at the Mega concert of D'Academy 7 World Cup Party, Emtek Studio, Daan Mogot, West Jakarta, Monday (15/6/2026).
Yusuf often receives warm greetings from fans when he is walking around the shopping center. He is also happy to accommodate requests for photo documentation together as long as the person remains polite. "For example, if someone is very polite, I will definitely serve them even more politely," he said.
The popularity he now holds does not make Yusuf a high-minded person towards others. He continues to strive to maintain friendliness towards everyone, even when his physical condition is very tired.
"Actually, whether someone is uncomfortable or friendly depends on the person requesting the photo; for Yusuf, that’s how it is," he said.
Behind his success as a singer, Yusuf still has to focus on completing his formal education obligations at school. He has to endure the air travel from Jakarta to Palu to attend a very important exam schedule.
"Because Yusuf just finished his exam yesterday, he has to keep going back and forth between Palu, Palu-Jakarta, Jakarta-Palu like that," he said.
Yusuf feels very grateful for the full support from his schoolmates while competing in the capital. He considers the support system from his friends to be one of the keys to his strength in pursuing a brilliant career.
"Yusuf feels that too... it's one of Yusuf's support systems. So all the friends at school, thank God, support Yusuf," said Yusuf. "Yeah, like that. Yusuf adjusts, also adjusts," he concluded.
