Lesti's journey to reach her current career point has certainly not been instant. From stage to stage, the singer from Cianjur has undergone a long process filled with struggles until she finally became one of the brightest young dangdut divas in Indonesia.

"When I was given this song by Kak Adi, I immediately liked it because the music is nice, and the lyrics are full of metaphors. I even thought, how could Kak Adi come up with lyrics like 'what's the point of sowing seeds on a rocky shore, how could it possibly bloom and thrive,'" said Lesti.
