The moment leading up to the birth of their first child is a special time for Danang Pradana and Hemas Nura. This couple not only held a seven-month thanksgiving event, but also shared the story behind the name they have prepared for their baby, which is full of meaning.
Danang shared that he challenged his fans to suggest names with Islamic nuances and in Sanskrit. The name 'Danur' emerged as a combination of their names, Danang and Hemas Nura.
"I once gave a challenge and many suggested Islamic names in Sanskrit, which combined my name and Nura's. Combined, it became Danur, hopefully not like a horror movie," said Danang when met in the Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta, on Sunday (18/5/2025).
In addition to the name issue, Danang feels happy because the mitoni ceremony was held smoothly and attended by many friends and colleagues from the artist community. He expressed his gratitude for the prayers and attention they received during the event.
"Yes, I am happy to be able to communicate well with fans. So it motivates many people. Today the mitoni is held well, I have a friend who asked for help to organize the event. Thank God some artists attended who could pray for us," he said.
No less special, Danang mentioned that the artist Inul Daratista was willing to attend to perform the siraman ceremony. In fact, the preparations were only done in a short time of about 10 days.
"Earlier, my mother Inul was willing to participate in the siraman event. So the preparation was only 10 days, but I am grateful that all the invited guests attended," he explained
Many friends and family also came to provide support and encouragement, making Danang feel touched. He even mentioned that the food prepared for about 600-800 people was all consumed during the event.
"Alhamdulillah, my friends and Nura came to congratulate and encourage me, which made me feel touched. Today, the food for about 600-800 pax was all finished. I am very happy that I haven't eaten yet," he said.
