Through Dangdut, Nella Kharisma & Dory Harsa Hope Traditional Songs from All Over Indonesia Are Loved

The newlyweds who have just been blessed with a child expressed their joy in being able to perform on a program aired by Vidio. "It was an exciting experience after landing, went straight here, rehearsed, and performed live," said Nella Kharisma.

Dory Harsa also didn't forget to appreciate this program. He expressed his happiness in being able to bring the fragrance of his hometown by singing Javanese dangdut songs.

When asked about tips for maintaining physical fitness amidst a busy schedule of performances and recordings, Dory Harsa said that their 2-month-old daughter, Gendhis Geona Madaharsa, is their 'secret'.

"Before leaving (Gendhis), we always kiss and show affection. That's what keeps us motivated to create," said Dory Harsa.

"Of course, supporting each other is important, as well as maintaining a good mood," added Nella Kharisma.

2. Expectations for Regional Songs

Although they often perform Javanese dangdut songs, both of them state that they do not want only Javanese songs to be increasingly popular among the Indonesian people. They want

"Not only Javanese songs, but also songs from various regions in Indonesia. Recently, there have been songs from Eastern Indonesia, Minang, or Batak, for example. My hope is that regional songs from all over Indonesia can be uplifted through dangdut music," concluded Dory Harsa.
