Turning 17, Putri Isnari Launches Love-themed Song for the First Time

Kapanlagi.com - Young dangdut singer who emerged from the talent search show Dangdut Academy, Putri Isnari or Putri DA4 is now growing up. She has just turned 17, and at this age, Putri certainly wants to try something new for her work.

Putri Isnari has just released her latest single titled Drama Cinta (Love Drama). Interestingly, this is the first time Putri has produced a new song with a love theme.

In a live Instagram session with Kapanlagi On Air on Thursday (9/9), Putri Isnari stated that she wanted to dedicate a song with a different theme from before. Indeed, most of the songs from this 17-year-old girl revolve around her parents and her own career journey.

"17 years old, Alhamdulillah. It's the perfect time for sweet seventeen and previously, Putri's songs were about her parents and her career journey, so I wanted to have a new experience with a love-themed song," said Putri Isnari.

"I wanted it to be different from my previous single, like how should it be, more mature in taking on this song's theme," she continued.

1. Confused in the Creation of the Song

In addition, Putri Isnari admitted that she did not encounter any significant difficulties in the process of creating the song Drama Cinta. However, Putri mentioned that positioning herself as someone who has experienced the story depicted in the song was somewhat confusing for her.

"There were difficulties, because this is the first time I'm singing about love, so how can Putri position herself as someone who has been hurt, really getting into the song, that's what's a bit difficult and confusing," she said.

2. Combining Pop and Dangdut

Putri Isnari relies on her imagination to enter into the story of the song. It turns out, for the vocal recording of her latest song, Putri only needed three hours.

"Because Putri sings by looking at the lyrics first, so Putri is more into the imagination of 'oh like this, like that', it's a new challenge. Alhamdulillah, the vocal take only took three hours, this is the first time I have a pop dangdut song that combines pop and dangdut, which is really cool, and also about the feel, but I really like this song because the lyrics are very deep," she concluded.
