Turns Out This is the Reason Soimah is Not at Ease Living in Jakarta

However, despite being busy with various jobs, Soimah Pancawati admitted that she did not want to settle in Jakarta but chose to stay in Yogyakarta, she reasoned that she was willing to travel back and forth between Jogja and Jakarta to balance between life and livelihood.

"That's Soimah's greatness, she can be a sinden, a dangdut judge, a stand-up judge. My husband and children are in Yogyakarta. Why there? So that life is balanced, making money in Jakarta and seeking peace in Yogyakarta," said Soimah when met in the Gatot Subroto area, South Jakarta recently.

1. Yogyakarta Provides Peace

When asked further, Soimah admitted that she feels a little uneasy when living in Jakarta. This is because she always thinks about work matters.

"When looking for money in Jakarta, I seek peace in Yogyakarta, it's peaceful there, cheap food, for a more peaceful life in old age," she said.

"When in Jakarta, I think about all sorts of chaos, when at home I'm just an ordinary housewife," she continued.

2. Chasing Income for Retirement

Nevertheless, whether in Jakarta or Yogyakarta, Soimah is still happy. Especially in the near future, she will return to Jakarta to become a judge in a search event.

"I'm really happy to work in Jakarta again, chasing income for retirement," she said.
