"It's not just them, we are also sad and disappointed. But as good citizens, we must comply with government regulations," said Rizky Billar in Persari, South Jakarta, Saturday (24/7/2021).
Although saddened and disappointed, Lesti and Rizky Billar believe that there is wisdom behind the delay of their wedding plan.
"The solemnization ceremony should have taken place, but God has not allowed it yet, but we always think positively that there is wisdom in it. We believe that God's plan is better," said Rizky Billar.

Lesti and Rizky Billar were supposed to hold a wedding ceremony on Friday (23/7/2021) and continue with a reception on Saturday (24/7/2021). Government regulations during the PPKM (Community Activity Restrictions) which do not allow receptions and limit wedding activities, became the main reason for Lesti and Billar to postpone their wedding.
"Because we want something special for the wedding ceremony, we want our friends to attend. Currently, only 6 people are allowed to attend the wedding, so it doesn't feel complete," she said.
"I want the wedding that we hold to be something extraordinary and unforgettable, not just for us but also for our fans. But with this situation, we don't want to force ourselves to hold the wedding. So, whether we like it or not, we will postpone," said Rizky Billar.
Until now, Rizky Billar and Lesti have not determined the date of their wedding. Billar said they are still waiting for a conducive situation and condition in Indonesia from the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Where the situation is already conducive and starting to return to normal, there is no more PPKM. We want our event to be attended by our closest people," he said.
The news of the postponement of Lesti and Billar's wedding day has been met with various reactions from fans, netizens, and celebrities on social media. Many agree but there are also many who have different opinions. They also give their best wishes for the smoothness of Lesti and Billar's plans.
