"Yes (the construction of my parents' house is delayed), actually I was saving to build my parents' house, you know," Wika Salim said as quoted by detikhot.
Although Wika has sent two legal notices to her former management, there has been no good faith to return the money until now.
Wika emphasizes that all her efforts and savings so far have been aimed at building a house for her parents, and this delay has a significant impact on that plan.
"Because of this incident, yes, the impact is there, everything is also pending, many things that should have been moving forward are now stuck, because of this problem," she explained further.
Wika Salim acknowledges that she is very disappointed and shocked by the incident that has happened to her. Hopefully, she can soon find the best way out.
"We all know, right, that work is not just for ourselves, but for family, for the lives of our parents, and for the people we work with. So hopefully, there won't be anyone else who experiences the same thing as me, let it stop with me," concluded the 32-year-old artist.
