Liam Payne, former member of the boy band One Direction, was found dead after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires on October 16, 2024. The autopsy results have been released by the Argentine prosecutor's office. Here are the details!

The Argentine prosecutor's office revealed that the 31-year-old singer died from multiple trauma. Additionally, there was internal and external bleeding.

"Everything indicates that the musician (Liam) was alone when the fall occurred. Furthermore, he was also experiencing something due to substance abuse," said the prosecutor's office, quoted on Friday (October 18, 2024).

Authorities are also investigating the possible involvement of illicit substances in this incident. Various items suspected to be narcotics and alcohol were found in his hotel room, along with a chaotic condition of the room.

"City police investigating the scene found substances in the room that appeared to be narcotics and alcoholic beverages, as well as some broken furniture," the prosecutor's office stated.

Before the incident, a hotel employee had contacted emergency services out of concern for Liam's safety, who was seen behaving aggressively and appeared to be under the influence of substances.

The prosecutor's office confirmed that there were no signs of third-party involvement in Liam Payne's death. The investigation is still ongoing to confirm toxicology results related to the substances found in his hotel room.
