Christine Baranski, an actress who has been nominated for an Emmy award 16 times, recently discussed the possibility of a third sequel in the MAMMA MIA! franchise. She revealed that she has talked with producer Judy Kramer about the project.

In her statement, Baranski confirmed that she and Kramer shared a dinner, where Kramer shared plans and storylines for MAMMA MIA! 3.

Although Baranski could not provide further details about the project, her statement adds to the speculation and enthusiasm of fans regarding the highly anticipated continuation of the film.

Christine Baranski is an American actress known for her various roles in theater, television, and film. Born on May 2, 1952, in Buffalo, New York, Baranski has Polish-American ancestry.

She completed her secondary education at Villa Maria Academy and continued her studies at Juilliard School in 1970, a prestigious institution in New York City known as the birthplace of many famous artists.

Christine Baranski spent four years at Juilliard studying drama, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1974. She made her stage debut on Broadway and Off-Broadway in 1980.

Her career in theater earned her two Tony Awards, first for her role in the play THE REAL THING in 1984, and then for RUMORS by Neil Simon in 1989.

In 1990, Christine Baranski appeared in the courtroom drama REVERSAL OF FORTUNE, and in 1993, she played a role in the dark comedy film ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES.

Her role as Maryann Thorpe in the sitcom CYBILL (1995-1998) solidified her position on television, and in 2008, she appeared as Tanya Chesham-Leigh in the romantic comedy MAMMA MIA!.

Christine Baranski is also known for her role as Dr. Beverly Hofstadter in THE BIG BANG THEORY (2009). Baranski's name became more prominent thanks to her role as Diane Lockhart in the series THE GOOD WIFE (2009-2016) and THE GOOD FIGHT (2017-2022).

In that role, she received critical acclaim and various award nominations, including Primetime Emmy Awards. She is also known for her role in the Broadway comedy THE REAL THING, for which she won a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award.
