In the midst of a plundering adventure on an abandoned space station, a group of space pirates must face terrifying alien terror in the film ALIEN: ROMULUS. This film stands on its own, separate from other franchises.

The film is set between two previous Alien films, ALIEN (1979) and ALIENS (1986). Over 50 years have passed in the timeline, when Ripley is lost in space, meaning that ALIEN: ROMULUS takes place right after ALIEN.

In the new ALIEN: ROMULUS trailer, the film showcases more terrifying aspects. After a long chase in the spacecraft corridors, the teaser then shows an alien leaping onto a face and attacking a group. The final trailer reveals Rain Carradine, played by Cailee Spaeny, a member destined to fight the alien threat.
