According to his daughter, Tallulah Willis, Bruce is in good and stable condition, and they are trying to spend time together regularly. Tallulah stated that the moments with her father are very precious and filled with love.
Bruce is known to have retired from acting since March 30, 2022. This is due to health issues affecting his cognitive abilities.
Frontotemporal dementia is a rare type of dementia that can affect behavior, language, personality, and movement.
Although Bruce has difficulty communicating, he can still recognize his closest people, including his best friend Glenn Caron, who tries to remain present in his life.
"I work hard to stay in his life. He is an amazing person. What makes his illness so visibly devastating is if you have ever been with him," he said, as quoted by People, on Friday (30/8/2024).
