White Party P Diddy, Glamorous Party with White Dress Code and Which Celebrities Have Attended

P Diddy’s White Party is known for its strict dress code, meaning all guests must wear white attire. The decorations of the event are always in line with the white theme. 

P Diddy once told Oprah Winfrey in 2006 that the purpose of this white dress code is to "eliminate everyone’s image and put us all on the same level".

This event is famous for its diverse guest list, ranging from wealthy people in New York who have homes in the Hamptons to members of P Diddy's music entourage. P Diddy himself once described this event as "breaking down racial and generational barriers".

The first P Diddy White Party took place on Labor Day weekend in 1998 at P Diddy's home in East Hampton, New York. P Diddy invited 200 people to a BBQ at his new house, featuring a very diverse mix of guests, including R&B and Hip Hop musicians, actors, and socialites.

"I had the most ridiculous mix of guests: some of my friends from Harlem, Leonardo DiCaprio after he finished filming Titanic. I had socialites there and relatives from the south. There were 200 people sitting out there, just enjoying a home-cooked BBQ," said P Diddy about the first White Party.

The last P Diddy White Party was held on July 4, 2009, in Beverly Hills. This event was also scheduled as a campaign to raise awareness about malaria, with support from Ashton Kutcher. The event was attended by Kutcher and his wife Demi Moore, Khloe Kardashian, Nicole Scherzinger, and many other celebrities.

Paris Hilton once recalled that the first P Diddy event in the Hamptons was very iconic and everyone was present. Martha Stewart, who also attended the first event, described everyone wearing white as "a stunning sight".

Tom Swoope, a guest from the music industry, said that there were different levels of entry, with some guests having access to areas and activities not available to other guests. After a few hours, the children were also told to go home. 

Aretha Franklin, Jay Z, Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Sarah Jessica Parker, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ashton Kutcher, and many other celebrities have attended the White Party at one time or another. This event is famous for its diversity of guests, mixing celebrities and ordinary people from the music industry and beyond.
