Biopic films focus on the real-life stories of famous or influential figures in history. In Indonesia, the film industry has produced several biopic films that depict the inspirational stories of individuals who have made significant contributions to the country. One of the latest biopic films that will soon be released is SENYUM MANIES LOVE STORY (Anies Baswedan).

Biopic films in Indonesia often portray the lives of famous figures such as Soekarno, the first President of Indonesia and the founder of the Republic of Indonesia. Additionally, there are films about Soe Hok Gie, an intellectual activist whose life and thoughts have inspired many generations.

Biopic films also serve as a means to appreciate the achievements of famous figures in various fields. For example, the love story of Habibie and Ainun, as well as their contributions to the development of aircraft technology in Indonesia. These films not only document the life journeys of famous figures but also provide deep inspiration and educational value for viewers, especially the younger generation, to understand and appreciate Indonesia's historical and cultural heritage.
