Actress Aghniny Haque is known to play the main character in the latest film titled 'TUHAN IZINKAN AKU BERDOSA'. The film, directed by Hanung Bramantyo, apparently encountered obstacles when looking for its main cast.
This was conveyed by Aghniny Haque when met at Kapanlagi Youniverse, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (21/5).
Aghniny admitted that she was a little afraid when asked by the director to play the main character in the film.
However, in the end she agreed to play the main character. Nevertheless, Aghniny Haque still has limitations in playing her role.
"Honestly, I was a little scared when reading the script because I was wondering how this scene would be portrayed, but Mr. Hanung said that this is not going to be a pornographic film," said Aghniny Haque.
"Finally, we opened up and I wanted to play the character and the conflicts, but I still have limitations in playing vulgar scenes," she continued.
In addition, playing the main character in the film TUHAN IZINKAN AKU BERDOSA also made Aghniny feel insecure.
Even he has not found out how the figure 'Kiran' (the main character) that he played.
"The material that I studied is a lot, but I feel that until the shooting day is approaching, I haven't locked in on how to portray the character of Kiran," he said.
Even to be able to portray the character of Kiran, Aghniny Haque had to get closer to the Creator.
"For playing Kiran who is liberal, I don't have any problems, but for Kiran who is still religiously devout, that's difficult. Finally, I tried to pray again, recite the shahada again, and understand the meaning, not just say it," he concluded.
