Due to Baim Wong's post about his payment for the film SUKMA on Instagram, Asri Welas was visited by tax officials and asked to pay.
This is Baim Wong's post mentioning that Asri Welas' payment for the film SUKMA is Rp7 billion.
Baim's post made the Tax officials send him a love letter. Asri was asked to pay taxes because her income is fantastically high.
"The payment is really expensive. She (Asri Welas) asked for 1 million dollars for two scenes, that's Rp 15 billion, that's crazy. In the end, we negotiated and got Rp 7 billion," said Baim Wong jokingly.
However, that statement was taken seriously by the tax officials. "I was serious until the tax people came to me. Then they sent a love letter that said: 'Miss, pay your taxes!" Asri said as reported by Selebrita Heits, Tuesday (18/11/2025).
However, Asri denied that the payment he received from Baim was as much as the claim of the director of the film SUKMA. "The payment is still reasonable," said Asri.
"The most important thing is that I can continue to create. I am really grateful if there are still people who want to trust me to act in their projects," continued Asri.
