When this was confirmed to XXI, they clarified that the circular was not true. "I want to confirm that the circular in question is not true," explained Dewinta Hutagaol, head of corporate communications and brand management at XXI, when contacted by KapanLagi.com on Friday (20/3/2020).

The same thing was also stated by CGV Cinemas, "We apologize, we will not respond until an official announcement is issued by the official government media," said Hariman Chalid, public relations officer of CGV Cinemas.
