Ulzzang Lee Chi Hoon Passes Away, Previously Tested for Coronavirus

Lee Chi Hoon is known as an ulzzang (a person with an attractive face) who has appeared on the television shows Ulzzang Generation and Flower Boy Corporation. He is one of the famous ulzzangs in South Korea thanks to his handsome face. Before his death, he was known as a broadcast jockey on AfreecaTV.

As reported by SpoTVNews and cited by Soompi, Lee Chi Hoon passed away on Thursday morning (18/3/2020) local time. He passed away at the age of 32.

1. Lee Chi Hoon's Disease

According to reports, Lee Chi Hoon died from septicemia or blood poisoning. Sepsis was also the cause of Moon Ji Yoon's death. However, there is no confirmation on the exact cause of Lee Chi Hoon's death.

In addition to sepsis, Lee Chin Hoon apparently suffered from lymphadenitis or inflamed and enlarged lymph nodes for several days. He was also reported to be experiencing fatigue.

2. Tested for Coronavirus

It is also rumored that Lee Chi Hoon underwent a test for the coronavirus or COVID-19 due to experiencing high fever, but the result was negative. When his condition worsened, Lee Chi Hoon was admitted to the ICU but failed to be saved.
