Create Your Own Soundtrack, Quinn Salman Cries Watching GARUDA DI DADAKU

The young singer Quinn Salman once again carves an impressive achievement through his involvement in the animated film GARUDA DI DADAKU. He was trusted to be the voice actor for the character Naya, the only tough girl in the football team.

Quinn admitted to being very emotional when witnessing his struggles over the years finally displayed on the big screen. He feels proud because Naya's character carries a strong message about women's leadership on the green field.

"I am actually very proud to portray the character Naya in this animated film. Because Naya is a very strong and powerful character. She has, what do you call it, leadership qualities towards her friends, and she is a girl herself. The power of women is really felt when I watch the film," said Quinn Salman when met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (3/6/2026).

2. Surprised to Help Create a Song

The teenager, who received the Anugerah Musik Indonesia award, also had the honor of helping to create the theme song for the film. Quinn was directly involved in the workshop process with professional musicians to compose the melody and lyrics.

"At first, I thought I would just sing, but it turns out I also helped create the song. At that time, I was in a workshop with Kak Iva Fahir and Om Simala Afadana. Suddenly, I was surprised, Queen, just join us to create the song. And I was like, wow, creating a song for a feature film, a soundtrack, and this is my own film that I’m acting in," she said.

3. Lyrics "Together with the Garuda"

The song titled "Together with the Garuda" contains lyrics that are closely related to perseverance in achieving dreams. Quinn wants each of his listeners to feel stronger when facing challenges alongside their fellow fighters.

4. Inspiration Behind the Song

"Maybe it relates to many people about wanting to achieve dreams. But sometimes people are afraid of failing when they want to achieve their dreams, like they might lack self-confidence. In fact, as long as we are together, we will definitely be stronger," he said.

5. The Most Beautiful Gift

He feels that this moment is one of the most beautiful gifts in his career journey in the national entertainment industry. Quinn hopes that the character Naya can motivate many girls not to hesitate in pursuing sports hobbies.

"I also want to give a shoutout to all the amazing women who can play soccer, who are great at playing soccer and have skills, you all are so awesome. I'm like representing Naya who might be on this team, hope you all like the movie," she said.

GARUDA DI DADAKU tells the story of Putra, a 13-year-old boy with asthma who aspires to become a professional soccer athlete. Putra receives full support from his best friend, Naya (Quinn Salman), as they go through various magical adventures with a Garuda.
