El Sarira & Leya Princy Reveal Scenes That Stir Mixed Emotions in 'RANGGA & CINTA'

Kapanlagi.com - El Putra Sarira and Leya Princy are currently in the spotlight thanks to their performances as Rangga and Cinta in the upcoming film. During a press conference at XXI Epicentrum, South Jakarta, on Monday (29/9), both opened up about their filming experiences which turned out to be quite challenging.

Not only acting, El and Leya are also required to sing and dance. "In addition to the challenge in acting, we also have to sing. That's why we need to compose that very well between acting, singing, and there's also some dancing. So that's the biggest challenge," said El Putra Sarira.

1. Creating Emotions

Out of so many scenes, El admitted that there is one moment that really creates emotions.

"If asked which scene is the most challenging for me personally, it would be the scene where, um, what is it called, yes. Yes, the breakup scene, even though we were never in a relationship," she said with a small laugh.

2. Not Officially Dating

Leya, who was sitting next to her, immediately chimed in with a joke that lightened the mood.

"No, Rangga and Cinta are not officially dating," said Leya, successfully making the media laugh.

3. Mixed Feelings

El then explained why that scene was so heavy."The scene where Rangga and Cinta express their feelings, a confession of their emotions. So Rangga actually has mixed feelings there, and so does Cinta. So indeed, when the feelings are not good and they meet, it becomes very mixed feeling," she elaborated.

4. Draining Emotions

Leya also feels that the scene was the most emotionally draining. "Honestly, I agree. I actually enjoyed every scene. I enjoyed it and even though it was hard, searching for it was quite challenging," she said.

5. Clash of Feelings and Dialogue

According to Leya, the biggest challenge lies in the clash of feelings and dialogue. Where she feels conflicting emotions between her feelings and the dialogue.

6. Misunderstanding

"Especially with heavy or draining scenes like the one we discussed earlier, why is it hard? Because what I say to Rangga and what I feel are completely opposite. Cinta is going through something heavy in her friendship and Rangga doesn’t know that. And then also Rangga misunderstands, both of them misunderstand, and Cinta is not honest either," she explained.

7. Enjoying the Process

Although emotionally tired, Leya continues to enjoy the process. She feels that every difficulty faced during the shooting process is a challenge that an actor must overcome.

8. Very Complicated

"It’s a complicated feeling that hurts but must be because I choose my best friend, right? But it turns out it doesn’t have to be like that and I think it’s very complex that makes it actually very draining afterward. But it’s a wonderful challenge in my opinion, like I feel happy doing it," she concluded.

The chemistry between El and Leya is so natural that it makes the audience even more eager to wait for this film to be released on October 2, 2025.
