Fajar Nugra Feels Awkward and Nervous Acting with Celine Evangelista in 'DANYANG WINGIT'

"I honestly feel really awkward with Kak Celine, it's super awkward, you know? But luckily, Kak Celine opened up and finally allowed Fajar to have chemistry. So it became easier to build chemistry with Kak Celine herself," said Fajar Nugra when met at XXI Epicentrum, South Jakarta, Saturday (8/11/2025).

One of the most challenging scenes for Fajar was when he had to act at a waterfall with Celine. He admitted to being very nervous, but praised Celine's professionalism, who remained calm and supportive during the shooting process.

"I was nervous, to be honest. But Kak Celine is the professional. She really allowed it, saying, 'Just be cool, just be cool, relax, let’s just be professional,'" explained Fajar.

Fajar added that the relaxed attitude shown by Celine was the key to the success of the scene. That attitude made her more relaxed in acting, even though at first she felt very intimidated.

"Honestly, yes. Because you have already allowed it," she said.

In this film, Celine Evangelista not only acts but also lends her voice as a sinden. Fajar confirmed that Celine's vocal contribution in singing Javanese songs and mantras is quite significant and becomes an important element in the story.

"There are actually many. A lot from the mantras too, songs. Because there are several sindens, there is a sinden herself, and then there’s Mbak Celine," he concluded.
