'Lying' Director When Starring in the Film 'DEALOVA (2024)', Givina Lukita Turns Out Can't Play Basketball

Kapanlagi.com - Actress Givina Lukita is trusted to be the main cast in the film 'DEALOVA (2024)' directed by Ray Nayoan. During the production process, the director, Ray Nayoan, said that Givina had lied.

This was revealed by Ray during the press conference for 'DEALOVA (2024)' in the Senayan area, South Jakarta, on Monday (12/2). At that moment, Ray jokingly said that Givina initially claimed to be able to play basketball, but it turned out she couldn't.

"Givina lied, she said she could play basketball but she can't," said Ray Nayoan.

On the same occasion, Ginina Lukita laughed while responding to what Ray Nayoan said. However, Ray still doubted the ability of one of his actors.

"Being able doesn't mean being skillful. Okay, then I'll continue playing basketball," said Givina Lukita.

"But after that, I gave him a basketball course and now he's really good," added Ray Nayoan.

It is known that Givina plays the character of Libby, a high school student who is good at playing basketball in her school. Because of this role, Givina Lukita admitted that she was quite burdened when she had to play in a successful film in 2005.

"I grew up with the movie DEALOVA, and when I was given a big role in the movie DEALOVA, I was really happy. I also felt burdened whether I could perform as best as possible here or not," she said.

In addition to Givina Lukita, this film also stars Harris Vriza and Dikta, who make up the love triangle. The film, produced by Flix Picture, is scheduled to be released on February 22, 2024. It is not a sequel but a spin-off of the 2005 film DEALOVA.

The 2024 version of the film DEALOVA has just released its official trailer and a series of original soundtracks.
